‘Pain, Mind & Movement: Applying science to the clinic’ satellite meeting of the 17th World Congress on Pain Boston, Massachusetts, USA. September 11, 2018 (World Congress dates: 12–16 September). Submissions by April 13.
Proposal submission for clinical workshops here | Abstract submission for oral presentations here
We are calling for submissions of proposals for oral presentations and clinical workshops. The satellite meeting will be an exciting international, interdisciplinary event focusing on pain, the mind, and body movement. It will include keynote lectures from two world leaders and ample opportunity for researchers to present their cutting-edge work.
Watch this public evening at UQ’s Institute for Molecular Biosciences. Some inconsistently with labelling but some awesome science too!
The Body in Mind Research Group is based at The Sansom Institute for Health Research at the University of South Australia in Adelaide and Neuroscience Research Australia in Sydney. We have active collaborations with editors scattered around the world. Together we are seeking a better understanding of the interaction between the body, brain and mind in chronic and complex pain disorders.

We often get people writing in about their particular conditions asking for more information and help. Unfortunately we get too many to be able to respond personally. We do not publish these comments for privacy reasons and we cannot offer treatment advice.
